“This year’s PSV Testing Week is set to kick off the IRTE Skills Challenge from 1st to the 3rd June with tasks focused on both EV and diesel vehicles, electrical fault diagnostics, brake systems, and more, offering a wide range of practical challenges for competitors across the passenger transport engineering sector.

Held at S&B Automotive Academy in Bristol, the PSV Testing Week brings together some of the UK’s top road transport engineering apprentices, technicians, and transport operators, to celebrate excellence and support skills development.”

Key dates:

PSV Skills Testing Week (1 – 3 June 2026): Where competitors from the PSV Sector around the country take on the challenge at S&B Automotive Academy in Bristol.

Disc-Lock Europe recently concluded a successful exhibition at the Commercial Vehicle Show 2026, held at the NEC Birmingham from 21st–23rd April. As the UK’s leading event for the road transport, logistics and fleet sector, the show welcomed nearly 15,000 industry professionals and over 320 exhibitors, highlighting the latest innovations shaping commercial mobility.

Exhibiting at Stand 5A16, Disc-Lock showcased its superior vibration-proof wheel fastening systems, designed to eliminate the risk of wheel loss across trucks, trailers, and buses. With safety and reliability continuing to be critical concerns for fleet operators, Disc-Lock’s solutions attracted strong interest from visitors seeking proven, preventative solutions.

The event provided an excellent platform for connecting with industry professionals, strengthening partnerships, and demonstrating how Disc-Lock Europe supports safer, more efficient fleet operations.

A pleasure to attend Society of Motor Manufacturers and Traders (SMMT) CV Section meeting yesterday at Dennis Eagle HQ. It was a valuable opportunity to connect with industry colleagues, discuss key topics affecting the commercial vehicle sector, and hear updates from across the industry.

Dennis Eagle are leaders in refuse vehicle manufacturing, I enjoyed the opportunity to tour the manufacturing facility and see first hand the engineering, production processes, and attention to detail behind Dennis Eagle’s vehicles.

The eighth FORS Annual Conference looks at how FORS can work with operators to help them prepare for the future challenges and innovations in the transport sector.

Disc-Lock Europe Ltd attended the NUFAM 2025 Commercial Vehicle Trade Fair in Germany which took place at the Messe Karlsruhe, 25 – 28 September. We were exhibiting in Hall 1 on stand E113 at this European truck and trailer event held in Germany.

Includes – 450 professionals, 50+ exhibitors and 10+ leading Industry speakers.

We were exhibiting in Hall 1 on stand R8 at this one-stop industry event that is all about the truck and everything related to it. Visitors attended from all over the UK,  making the road Transport Expo a truly national show. It produced a record attendance, with over 12,000 visitors over the three days, 22% higher than 2023.
